We have tested our CS solution on some common pathogens. The tests were done " in vitro " (cultured in a dish). We tested our CS vs. five common antibiotic drugs and CS produced with low, constant voltage DC. The pathogens studied were: 1. Staphylococcus aureus (Pneumonia, eye infections, skin infections (boils, impetigo, cellulitis, and post-operative wound infections), toxic shock syndrome, meningitis, food poisoning, osteomyelitis, and many others) 2. Salmonella arizona (Food poisoning, etc.) 3. E. coli (Food poisoning, urinary tract infections, traveler's diarrhea, diarrhea in infants, respiratory tract infections, and wound infections) 4. Haemophilus influenzae (Otitis media (ear infection), pneumonia, meningitis, throat and sinus infections (including epiglottitis in children and sinusitis), and suppurative arthritis in children) 5. Streptococcus pneumoniae (pneumonia, meningitis, sinusitis, otitis media (ear infection) I will not burden you with a lot of scientific mumbo-jumbo. Suffice to say that our CS, in a concentration of 2 parts per million (PPM), killed every one. We began at 16 PPM and reduced down to 1 PPM. NONE of the antibiotics killed every pathogen. The CS produced with constant low voltage did inhibit the growth of 1,2,3 and 4 but had no effect on #5.

Guest guest
< > Hi, I am a colloidal silver (CS) believer and have done a lot of research on it. I also get consumer reports magazine and saw the very small mention of CS they had. I have moved toward natural healing and healthy living. CS is a big part of that. < > The following is one web site that shows some of the bacteria killing abilities of CS: http://www.csprosystems.com/BYU_Bacteria_Testing.html < > This happens when you use a 500ppm product for a long period. The average CS user, uses 10-20ppm. One thing that can happen when taking 10-20ppm in large amounts is diarrhea, same as when taking antibiotics. When taking large amounts of CS, some may reach the lower intestines and kill the good bacteria. Either back off on the amounts, or supplement with acidophilus. < > Silver salts are a different product and are more caustic. Silver salts can stain and burn the skin. Any " product " containing CS may not be effective. It is my belief that CS should never be mixed with anything else and should not even touch a metal spoon! It must be stored in dark " glass " bottles and kept at a constant temp. CS made by the electrical method, contains both ions (atoms missing an electron in the outer shell) and particles. The ions will attach to other particles (to gain the missing electron) and lose their effectiveness. This may be how it kills bacteria, by attaching to it. When taking orally, you may need to make sure your mouth is healthy first or the CS may be used up before it gets anywhere else. Since CS is antibacterial, you can use it as a mouthrinse to kill bacteria that may lead to gingivitis. < > CS is a suspension of silver particles in distilled water, not a gelatinous base. Maybe they are referring to the 500ppm CS. < > Yes, there are some fantastic claims out there! That's the good, bad and ugly of the internet. You can't believe everything you read/hear. In some cases it may be a placebo affect. Don't let those fantastic claims close your eyes to what CS can really do. < > IMHO, the FDA will never approve a " natural " product. CS is not a drug, but a mineral supplement. I use it on cuts, which makes them heal faster with less scaring. I've only recently purchased my own generator to make my own so I can use it as a mouth rinse. I also give it to my dog, when needed. Take care! Guest guest
It's probably a big crock. Tried it myself orally and topically for a couple weeks, no change. Some of the sites that promote it are comical - one even said it cures aids. They list all these diseases that it supposedly cures, but has your doctor or anyone elses prescribed colloidal silver for anything? > Has anyone tried Colloidal Silver to help treat their rosacea and if so, > have you had any success? > > Can this, marketed as a very powerful natural antibiotic/antifungal > product be taken along with a course of antibiotics or could the two > conflict? > > Best wishes everyone > Sue

Guest guest
> HAs anybody tried colloidal silver to clear up and infection, 1st > what is colloidal silver and what was your experience with it if you > tried it Did nothing for me for a suspected candida infection and related digestion problems. The only thing that has helped is *enteric coated* probiotics. Standard probiotics didn't help.
