To the question of " What is Brittle " unlike many people in my age group I am

not insulin resitent in fact am very sensitive to insulin - when I've been

hospitalized (more times than I wish - for various reasons) the staff (well

meeningly treats the high agressive and there I go - to the basement Big Time -

then they (understandably) panic and push glucose and up I go - Thus the

RollerCoaster. It also happens if I eat raw apples or drink something with

pectin in it? ( Don't ask Me????) I am facing ACL replacement next week on my

left leg and am nervous (as can be expected) . I had one done in 2000 on my

right leg and they were great with my diabetis and every thing. I am using the

same the same facility and Dr... Has anyone out-there tried to get an insurance

company to except the idea of the " Pump " when their stand is " Needle Delivery "
