Mr. Singletary,

This quilt, of which we have spoken about for weeks on end, will probably

bring attention to CJD to a whole population of people who probably wouldn't

pick up Mad Cow U.S.A. until they see it. There are more ways to do things

than just by word and they are all alot of work. This is not only my

opinion, it's the truth.

Go for it Robin, I am not going to argue with you. As I said, it's your rights,

and my thoughts................ we both are entitled to them, at least the last

time I looked. But,

I would not bank on more people being educated by the quilt, than by a book in a

library. I remember when Mom first was diagnosed with CJD. I went to the Public

Library, and

TRIED to look up some books on CJD. There were none. Just some Government

information on CJD. Of course, I saw no QUILTS hanging from the Library

either........

By the way, I will not be able to make it to the Conference (for personel

reasons), so if you would like to Chastise me for that to, go ahead

on..............

Robin -

I believe that ANY way we can advise the public about CJD is good. Think

of the little old ladies (me included) who would not hear about CJD in any

other way, EXCEPT that it appeared in a quilt show or magazine!!!

I think all our ideas should be used and that we should all support one

another in our pursuit of educating the public.
