I've posted about this before, but in case anyone missed it......

I had a very high level of mercury poisoning with 17 amalgams and 3

removals w/o protection w/in a year of each other, 2 being replaced

with dissimilar metal crowns, one of them gold.

it took me 4+ years to find out that the amalgams were problematic

and that I could have mercury poisoning.

I got FMS so bad that I couldn't hardly get out of a chair and walk

across the room.

Initially, the DMPS urine challenge test and any amount of DMSA used

in chelation make my nerves and muscles and lower back burn with pain.

12 months later I am having no problems using DMSA at 100mg and ALA

at 50mg....every three hours for four days.....Im now doing rounds

every 2 weeks.

IMHO, what made the difference for me was NOT starting with the

standard chelators, but starting with saunas, bowel cleanses and

liver cleanses......( I had all the appropriate tests to those

elimination systems) I only did rounds of DMSA when I felt good and

I used 25, then 50 mg for probably 6 months....but only doing rounds

once a month or so.....Saunas are a great cleanser, after all, our

skin is our largest elimination organ....liver cleanses are fabulous

and give a boost of energy.....but I have to say that the greatest

boost I had was after a 10 day bowel cleanse using a colema board and

Dr. Schultz's products......it takes about 2 hours a day to do

one....so don't plan lightly....I can't wait to have another

opportunity to do one....I believe w/o anything to back it up, that

the cleaner our elimination systems are, the less the chance of

re-absorbtion....it just makes sense.....

I have not been re-tested for mercury yet, but I have no doubt that

my level is much lower because my energy is about 300% greater and

the FMS symptoms virtually gone.....

about a month ago, I went on the trial protocol for 's

syndrome; and have settled into a level of T3 twice a day that keeps

my temp above 98 ......I have much more energy from it.....But I

couldn't understand it or follow the protocol a year ago.....the most

exciting thing about de-toxing is getting my brain and intellect back.

Jaen,

>>Saunas are a great cleanser, after all, our skin is our largest

energy.....<<

I'm lucky that I was able to buy a sauna for a decent price. What liver

cleanse have you done? Can you be specific, please?

>>but I have to say that the greatest boost I had was after a 10 day

Here again, I invested in a colema board, but sometimes I just feel too

tired to get everything together and face doing all the cleanup. Yet,

when I have energy, I don't mind doing all this stuff.

What specific products from Dr. Schultz did you use and how often would

you do the colema? I find that using psyllium makes me bloated and puts

a lot of air in my stomach, making the colema or colonic very

uncomfortable and limits it's success. When you get air in your colon,

it can block the water, making it difficult to hold much water. There

must be a right formula or better way to do things that I have done them.

I do believe in what you're saying, using colemas and sweating to get

rid of toxins. They can be a big help.

Jean,

This is all good news. Did you say all of your amalgams and mercury have been

removed? I couldn't tell from your post whether or not you only had the three

removed. What about your crowns? I am in a similar situation with severe FMS

and 4 crowns and 2 amalgams rreplaced unsafely. I still have 5 alamgams in my

mouth. I am just too sick right now to deal with it. I am doing clay baths,

suplementation for organ support, biocleanse for the lymphatics etc. Just

looking for some relief. I plan on safely removing the last 5 first. Taking a

break to see how I feel and then figuring out the next step.

Hi Marsha,

sorry it's taken me so long to respond, I 've just been too busy with

work to get back to the list....I know this makes it very disjointed.

my apologies.......

Liver cleanse is on Dr. Hulda 's website (do a search for her.)

I agree the cleanses are a lot of work, but there is even more

reward. I missed doing the last one on the schedule I had set up,

because of work committments.

if you go to Dr. Schultz website (do a search for him) .....I used

the detox formula tincture; the kidney/bladder tincture....and I

think the third one was the liver/gall bladder tincture....and then

also Intestinal Formulas # 1 & #2

with 10gal. colema each day (which took about two hours)....and I did

a liver cleanse on the 7th day and then one two weeks after that.

joining the yahoo list called bowelcleanse has been very helpful to

answer questions.....

I think one single safe thing to do is make sure you're drinking half

your body weight in ounces of quality water each day .....for me that

is a daily struggle to drink enough, but all of the other detoxing

things Im doing feel better if Im drinking enough.

Cindy, I did have all of my almalgams removed by last June.....from

January to June 2001, I did primarily nutritional support stuff, most

alll of which is recommended in Andy Cutler's book. I found that

glutamine, the Immunocal Whey protein, and two 3 month periods of

taking Colostrum to be extremely helpful in how I felt....I also got

all the recommended testing done, like detox pathways in the liver,

etc.
