Guest guest
<< Could folks just simply copy the url from the address line at the top of the browser, and past it into their letter, and stop trying to be " fancy " with the AOL-type links??? They just don't come through in text e-mail at all!!! >> I try to do both when I can. Does that help at all? Or is it still bad to read? Or Should we post two separate emails? One with the aol links and another with just the address?? Ideas? Teena

You emails are looking fine to me though. I >haven't had any >trouble > AOL e-mail automatically puts links into HTML style tags, and it comes out looking absolutely hideous on Outlook and Netscape mail see, anyone can read this - http://www.steviva.com and it should be a clickable link, except for pure text mail readers, like Juno - but AOL has this nasty habit of sending absolute junk - like this a href= " http://www.steviva.com " > Stevia site A HREF= " http://members.xoom.com/Shadcat708/LC.htmlhttp://members.xoom.com/S hadcat708/LC.html A HREF= " www.splenda.com " >splenda A HREF= " http://www.pathfinder.com/people/web/index.html " > People.com A HREF= " http://soda-pop.stores.yahoo.com/soda-pop/dietrccolwsu.html " >Click here: Pop The Soda Shop And when I get a whole page of unformatted junk like that, I can't even read it. Makes my eyes cross... Folks from AOL who send entire lists of links, I don't care how valuable they " might " be - I just delete them now, the links don't turn blue and aren't clickable, they are almost impossible to read, and I just don't feel like squinting and cutting and pasting them all out. Could folks just simply copy the url from the address line at the top of the browser, and past it into their letter, and stop trying to be " fancy " with the AOL-type links??? They just don't come through in text e-mail at all!!! Thanks a.k.a. ~ Natty's mommy lanat@... http://www.javanet.com/~lanat/
