How can one slow down the symptoms on their own? Why wouldn't their e-mail be on all the time? It seems highly unusual that so many would be affected at the same time and place. Do you think the point she is getting at is the grain they are feeding to the horses, is also being fed to the cows, then they are eating the beef? Guest guest Posted November 29, 1998 Report Share Posted November 29, 1998 Hi Robin; I agree I was skeptical when I read it too, I want to see what she says, I am not saying that she could be wrong as we all know how hard diagnosis of CJD is. I want to see what symptoms etc...she is talking of. You know in all my reading I don't think I have come up with horses having a form of BSE I am sure it is possible, how could this not cross this species, what is this barrier, unless I have just missed it in my reading..anyone know? Will put something in the post to her on Monday and will wait for a reply. Guest guest Posted November 29, 1998 Report Share Posted November 29, 1998 In Queensland Australia a few years ago there was an episode of horses and their trainer falling sick....The horses and trainer died....can't remember what the disease was,,it was very rare, but definately not CJD..There was also a lot of media coverage and some talked about coverups..... This sounds more like the disease involved.....It is impossible to halt CJD symptoms once they have started...One of the reasons that CJD is so hard to diagnose is because it mimmicks many other diseases.... Has anyone ever heard of a bunch of CJD patients getting together to support one another? Symptoms don't progress that slow....(unless its genetic).. There is defineately a problem with this lady and her friends but its not CJD... She should be looking at every angle regarding diseases and not just CJD....
