Guest guest
Well, so so The doctor believes that he has allergies although all of his tests were negative. He seems to think that the long term use of steroids have masked the test cause he said he didn't even respond to one that a normal person with no allergies should respond to. He put him on Flonase and Claritin and said we should try using an aerochamber for the Vanceril Double Strength instead of the Inspibreeze because BJ gags every time we give it to him. He was very nice and spent about 3 hours with us. He shared a lot of info with us on our GI doc too. He said he sees about 30 pediatric patients a year that Dr. Friesen tells has EG. He said BJ is the first that actually does (since BJ's diagnosis was confirmed by 3 other GI docs). He said " I guess he actually got it right for once " Needless to say, we are going to be looking for a new GI doc. We were actually really fustrated with Dr. Friesen because he seems completely happy to keep BJ forever on Prednisone. Guest guest
Thanks Cathy, the test was really not as bad as I thought (I guess that is easy for me to say, it wasn't my back) Dawn Dcjatben@... wrote: > From: Dcjatben@... > > In a message dated 6/23/99 7:43:57 PM Pacific Daylight Time, > j7160@... writes: > > << > Well BJ is going for skin testing for allergies tomorrow.
