I have access to a company to get ribbons printed being that I own a printing company. What size and amount are you looking for? Send me the info and I'll see if I can help. The ribbon coud be looped to shape a 1/2 circle, such as teh NBC symbol...except the ribbon woud still be seen at teh bottom. This would represent a " broken " circle. The CJD with dark letters on a ligth backgound for the center of the broken circl4e. I can picture it in my mind but I can't write. I hope this makes sense. Just a thought for discussion. I like that idea....I wonder how we could get a ribbon made in white (left) gold (center) black (right).....I think we should have a small gold square with CJD in the center that would be placed where the ribbon crosses.....and if we can't manage that.....a gold angel..... Of all the colors not already taken, gray is the most symbolic of this disease, but gray is such a dull color. Silver is just gray with a little shine, which would make it more noticeable. I bought my niece a necklace with her name out of these and at the store are silver chains like come with dog tags, I wouldn't mind wearing that, they can also be cut as a bracelet size. I don't know much about those little letters...but I will check and see if we have them at the local Hallmark store and what they look like. I think a nice pin would be a better choice than chains, necklaces or braclets...This way men could wear the pin on their clothing also... If we could figure out the color and lettering...(or angel)...maybe we could make our own....I assume local fabic stores would carry the color we decide on.....all you'll need are ribbons, letters, (or angel)....a pin back...and hot glue gun....(I think?)..
