(Just saw K-19 Widowmaker last night). I basically trust this guys methods, if he will use the right materials which I haven't talked to him about yet. You just seemed to know about bite issues, but I know I was vague and that you can't really give individual advice anyway. But I also have very high ionized calcium (with low-normal serum calcium), and high blood aluminum. Porcelain contains aluminum, and from what I guess, radioactive calcium....that way the manufacturer's can get around the " radiation loophole " by using calcium (which is " natural " ), and hey, radiation is a " natural phenomenon " that is in everything.... They simply can NOT make porcelain that looks real without using radiation. Some VERY clever marketing people must have dreamed up using ionized calcium (calcium-40). I also think the addition of porcelain to a mouth full of mercury, is a receipe for disaster. I don't think the two mix well. I have high parathryoid hormone (PTH) levels now, with a low-normal serum calcium. This is called pseudohypoparathyroidism. PTH is a uremic toxin, and uremic toxins cause encephalopathy. I have high cerebrospinal fluid protein levels, but no infections. It is being caused by an unidentified toxin.... Maybe Andy should write another book.... Guest guest Posted January 10, 2003 Report Share Posted January 10, 2003 I would highly suggest anyone not having " dramatic " improvements after the removal of amalgam, and who have porcelain crowns, to have their serum calcium, ionized calcium AND parthyoid hormone levels checked AT THE SAME TIME. Most standard blood work-ups check the serum calcium ONLY. An imbalance can only be detected by testing the three levels simultaneously. If there is an imbalance, you might want to consider trading in the " all natural, as close to REAL teeth as you can get because they have calcium in them! " porcelains for another dental material.
