Hi All:

My name is , father of 12, in St. , MN. My wife Patty usually

does

the writing here. , EE/EG, uses Rice Dream on cereal, organic rice

puffs and

rice pops from Health Valley, but has become very gassy as of late.

does

however enjoy the ability to eat quite a few different foods. His diet

resembles the

caveman diet. That is, meat, fresh fruit & vegetables, steamed veggies,

homemade

yoghurt, natural fruit juices and of course, neocate. He experiences pain

after

having consumed any of the obove, but says that it hurts the least after

having

neocate and most after pizza. That is his scale. His diet is based on the

book,

Breaking the Vicious Cycle, by Elaine Gottschall. He can also have real, not

processed cheese, except for mozzerella and riccota. He is seeing an internist

after exhausting every GI pediatrician in Minnesota ( no kidding!!) and this

internist

is also known for using alternative therapies such as vitamin and herbal

supplements

as well as acupuncture, deep massage and just takes western medicine and

blends it with these other philosophies. still suffers 24/7 from pain,

but has been

able to go to school full time the last 3 weeks, play golf and starts

baseball tommorrow. We are very greatful. Most importantly of all, these new

therapies are

used in conjunction with a great deal of prayer. We will keep eveyone here in

our

prayers , as this debilitating affliction seems to just keep growing and

aside from

prednisone, the docs don't seem to have a clue. We have been very frustrated!

As

I am sure everyone here is. God Bless!
