Guest guest
Well it looks like they're finally on the right track here's an exert from Health - Reuters Studies to Look at Chemicals, Parkinson's. The federal government said on Monday it was giving $20 million to three research centers to try to find out if chemicals or other environmental factors cause Parkinson's disease. Here's the really interesting part: " The NIEHS, one of the National Institutes of Health said it was funding the Parkinson's Institute in Sunnyvale, California, to examine risks associated with pesticides and heavy metals, the possibility that tobacco and caffeine may protect against Parkinson's, and genetic susceptibility to the disease. " Here's the link to the whole article: http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/nm/20020826/hl_nm/parkinsons_chem\ \ icals_dc_1 Wonder how long before they drop the " and heavy metals " part of the study from pressure by the ADA and blame it on " genetic susceptibility " ?
