Dear CJD voice members, My husband died with confirmed CJD on January

17, 1999. He died at home and his death was very peaceful. I am

presently trying to " regroup " . I want to thank CJD voice for the support

and information.

Thank you,

Dear Jarlath Fitzwater,

My heart goes out to you at this time. I just lost my dear mother to CJD

on Dec. 10th,1998. This was confirmed by a brain biopsy. I miss her so much.

I Thank God for this web site. Keep the faith...nne

My mom died on Jan. 23, 1998. The funeral was today.

She had an autopsy but the dr. is 90% sure that she had " Gerstman-Straussler

Syndrome " (A disease that is related to CJD) She also went peacefully.

She had pnemonia & after 2 days of not eating or drinking the Lord decided

she's been through enough & took her home. I miss her so much. I'm so

shocked.

She was only 52. How old was your husband?

Well, I wish you the best.

Good Luck & may God Bless You,

e (Kristi118aol.com)

Hi e,

Please accept my deepest sympathy on the passing of your Mother.I lost

my own Mother 10 years ago to CJD.And I know how hard it is for the whole

family to loose someone you love in this way. This mailing list and web site

have done a lot to educate me on this terrible disease. And I find comfort in

knowing that there are people trying to discover how this disease is passed

along to our loved ones.I hope that you too find some hope here as well.Take

care and God Bless you.

Dear e,

My mother died 6 weeks ago Monday, so I know what you are going through.

Please accept my deepest sympathies to you and your family. If there's

anything I can do, please let me know.
