Guest guest Posted August 14, 2004 Report Share Posted August 14, 2004 Shrimp Salad Orientale 1/4 cup lemon juice 2 tsps chili powder 1/4 cup low-sodium non-fat chicken broth 1 tsp sugar 1 tsp ground coriander 1 tbsp oyster sauce 1 lb fresh medium shrimp, cooked, peeled and deveined 1 cup crabmeat 1 medium red onion, chopped 1 medium tomato, chopped 1 medium cucumber, peeled and thinly sliced 6 cups shredded romaine lettuce Combine lemon juice, chili powder, broth, sugar, coriander and oyster sauce in a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Add shrimp and crabmeat, and remove from heat. Stir in onion. Add tomato, cucumber, and lettuce, and toss well. Transfer to individual plates and serve. At the class I took the nutritionist said Lobster and Shrimp had a lot of cholestoral and shoult be avoided. I was very surprised by this and wondered if she was mistaken?
