Guest guest
Hi Deb, Thanks for the advice. I actually contacted Walter at ObesityLaw.Com today. I am waiting to hear from them. I like the idea of maybe using the newspaper as well. I tried everyone when I started and NBC were the only ones who responded to my emails and phone calls. I'll try all the local newspapers again. Thank you again! Vicky > Dear Vicki, > > What are the grounds for their appeal? It sounds like the medical care there is quite poor. One thing to look into is the nearest university. They usually have a teaching hospital affiliated with it and are up on the latest procedures. When I lived in the SF Bay I area I went to Stanford University when I had a breast cancer scare. Hi Vicky, I hope you had good treatment there. I could tell you horror stories about their orthopedic and pain clinics! Hugs, Marilyn
Guest guest
Leanne Great to hear from her. Give her our wishes for relief of any pain and discomfort she has. > > Hello, > > Just got off the phone with Vicky and she says hello to everyone and is praying for everyone. She hasn't been able to keep up with the group as much as she would like to, but everyone is on her mind. She's not feeling too well. She's still with hospice and is having a very hard time with water retention. Her feet are extremely swollen and she's dealing with a lot of pain. They moved into a new apt a little bit ago and they love it. Gene is working hard and is hanging in there. Her daughter is staying close. > > If you want to send her a card, her new address is 23 Hidden Lane, Apt 1A, Battle Creek, MI 49017. > > Please keep her and her family in your thoughts and prayers. > > Leanne >
