Guest guest
Hi Moira, Thanks for the reply. I did a google search but couldn't come up with any sources for DMSA. I missed it in the files section. Unfortunately, my doctor is one of the few in Toronto area who will even consider any " alternative " theories so he's the best I can do. He really does try but he is inundated with people who want to see him and he is being hounded by our wonderful government who won't pay him through OHIP to punish him for even trying to help us. He is walking a very fine line trying to help and still keep them from shutting him down. We actually have one good doctor, Dr. Krop, who was almost hounded out of business because he was using alternative theories like EPD for allergies, chelation and IV vitamins. He is hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt from fighting the Medical Board who wanted to take away his license. Note that not one patient complained about him, only other doctors. Only in Canada, eh. :-( Eileen
Guest guest
No Dr. in Canada can be shut down for using natural therapies. They passed a law that no one can hound them like they did. I think your information is not correct. A lot of new therapies are covered by medical plans. Here in N.B. the hair test is covered and I know the saliva test is covered for hormones as well. I do not know where you get your information but it is not correct. Re: adding supplements before chelation-Moira > Hi Moira, > > Thanks for the reply. Guest guest
How do you know Dr. Krop is hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt? Did he tell you that? A huge amount of money was raised by the public to help him and he had a lot of support. Unless you can verify this you should not report this. He was the hero that changed the way medicine can be practiced in Canada. The powers that be did not win that one although they tried. The people have the last say if the polititions want to keep their job. Re: adding supplements before > chelation-Moira > > > > Hi Moira, > > > > Thanks for the reply. Guest guest
Hi Eileen, > Thanks for the reply. I did a google search but couldn't come up > with any sources for DMSA. I missed it in the files section. The information is here: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Autism-Mercury/files/HOW_TO_buy_DMSA That takes you to a FILE on the Autism-Mercury list. The file is public, just click on the link. It has all the particulars. > Unfortunately, my doctor is one of the few in Toronto area who will > even consider any " alternative " theories so he's the best I can do. > He really does try but he is inundated with people who want to see > him and he is being hounded by our wonderful government who won't pay > him through OHIP to punish him for even trying to help us. >Only in Canada, eh. :-( Oh, I'm not so sure it is only in Canada I would LIKE to think so, but, well, I think Canada has a lot of " company " in this area. Too bad. best wishes, Moria
