Guest guest
I know that some of the meters have a 100% rebate. It sounds crazy but at CVS and at Walmart I saw the $60. one touch Ultra had these rebates. It took a while but I got a check for the $60 I paid. Guest guest
kewl, Gail, I forgot about the rebate thing, I paid 75.00 and got 40.00 of mine back, but the testing strips were what killed me on it...something like 82..00 for 100 strips and testing three times a day that is less than a month and a half's worth.. I didn't have the cash to do that. So I did some digging on the net to see what I could come up with, up to and including sending a email to One Touch about a patient assistance program, and they didn't have anything, but I did come across www.diabetesnet.com and got their quiktec, 45.00 including shipping brought me a new meter and 100 strips.. they are based out of California, in San Diego I believe and even going snail mail, it only took me 3 days to get my supplies, I even got a new meter a couple of times, so that I had one at home, one at work and a spare in case I broke one.. check them out, they even have insulin and other supplies.. Guest guest
I got a Precision xtra from CVS. I only had to buy the strips - 50 count, for about $50, which isn't bad, and I got the $80 meter for free. Jo > I know that some of the meters have a 100% rebate.
