Thank you Marilyn. The problem is that he is so stubborn and wants

everything to be " normal " . Who wouldn't? But I really do love the guy

(just a friend) and it is hard to watch him so sad and sick. He

called his doc yesterday and he was put on another med and has an

appt today, so we'll see. The thing is that I don't want to be a pain

about it either, but want him to know that I care. :) Theresa

Hi Theresa, I find in this world, there are givers and takers. Doing both is

okay, but doing the giving brings you peace and joy that goes beyond all

understanding. If more people realized the sweetness of the nectar of love (as

in

friendship) there would be more giving friends like you. You just tell that

friend he is special to you and you are willing and able to be his rock. We

all need a rock. I will be praying for you both ;-) Hugs, Marilyn

I hire people to do everything and your living situation does need to

recognize your disease. Now, as to socializing more I do recommend that

but in the right way and the right quantities. One of the things

involved in and I moving in together is that with the money saved

over two households, we are able to afford more help. We do have a

weekly housekeeper now, obviously someone to do the yard, and still

looking for that perfect handyman. Had I not done this I would have

either gotten a roommate who would provide the services in exchange for

rent or I would have stayed in the smallest apartment I could get by in.

One way or another, simple and easy is what we need.

but I don't have the energy to unclutter my house or do much packing. I

hire someone to help with the housework every other week but I don't

have a lot of money. When the weeds start growing I will hire someone to

mow the lawn. I am on O2 24/7. I am not feeling so tired today. My

sister just has no concept of what this disease does. She even thinks

that I shouldn't be on oxygen. None of my relatives here know what is

really going on. That is why I need to move back around my children.

They seem to understand more and they want to help me. My daughter is

the only one who could come here and help me before the move but she has

2 little girls ages 3 and 6. The 6 year old is in school. She is

planning on coming after school is out. She said that I can move in with

her but those girls would drive me crazy and I would have to take over

one of their rooms. I just want to sell and get an apartment. I'm not

worried about the escapees anymore. I never was very much but I haven't

seen the neighbor or her son since the police were here. Thank you for

your suggestions. I need to call my daughter and see what is going on

with the people they said might want the house. I need to get it on the

market soon if they don't want it. BJ

Bruce, Thank you for all of the research that you do for us. I have learned a lot from reading your posts. If my ex were alive I'm sure that we could share a house, too. We had a friendly divorce. Beverley
