Guest guest
As someone with Crohn's Disease (IBD), the thought of eating worm eggs is a hard one to handle. But I find myself and many others with Crohn's have much less severe symptoms or even remission if we take probiotics (acidophilus, bifidus, other " soil-based probiotic organisms " ), and indeed I have recently started taking my acidophilus/bifidus supplements recently and am already experiencing an improvement in my body's digestive functioning. So now I am wondering if these researchers are really on to something. As far as the relevance to EG/EE/EC, well, that remains to be seen. I know some cases of EG/EC are caused by parasitic invasion, making me think that another " friendly " parasite in the body was not able to keep the " bad " parasite in check...much like acidophilus/bifidus keep candida (yeast) in check in the digestive system... Who knows, but I think some interesting research is going on and I hope they find some answers for all of us through this research. Just my $.02 -Joy ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com
Guest guest
Hi there; Before they diagnosed with EG they thought about worms. They had had a case of this huge worm they pulled out of kid up here. Its makes me ready to puke just to think about it. Well they ruled it pretty much out right away. Said there wasn't enough bowel in to grow one of those things. Oh joy. Beatrix>
