Guest guest
My friend Judy died Saturday at 5am. It was almost two months since she had been admitted to the hospital for tests and finally the brain biopsy which made the diagnosis of sporatic CJD. I'm glad she is free. I also greatly appreicated those who wrote about the denial families are often in during the illness because it helped me understand why none of them wanted to talk about CJD or it's origins etc. I now understand that often comes only later. I had another talk with a differant vet in my mountain town about CJD. Judy was a neighbor of his too. He told me that CJD is not caused by anything you eat and besides in the U.S. A no rendered animals are fed to cows. We don't do that here. (Sigh). I'm going to give him one of my Mad Cow U.S.A books. I feel sometimes like the voice of doom. , Oregon
Guest guest
: I'm sorry to hear about your loss. Don't let the 'uneducation' of so called professionals get you down... you've got the right idea... give 'em a book and educate them properly. Take care, you'll be in my prayers. Guest guest
I am sorry to hear you have lost your friend. However remember, she is now free and at home! Her pain ands sorrow will be no more. As she sits next to our heavenly father, she now knows the future that we hold. She can be your angel to talk to and watch over you. Judy will always be in your heart. May God Bless you and give you strength during this trying time. And remember...we are here for you. God Bless, Kathy
Guest guest
- Too bad there is such a large number of meat producers, packers and others who rely so heavily upon cattle production that they will lie, ignore and bend the truth about CJD and the fact that animal parts are STILL being fed to cattle. I live in Colorado and know that you will be ignored because no one in that industry wants to even hear what you have to say. I just choose my audience when I'm expounding and hope for the best. Wishing you the best in your trek from here on. My Dad passed away almost a year ago and there are still hard times, but they have gotten fewer and I have gotten stronger for it. Always, Shar
