Guest guest
Wow - you guys are sure scientific. Maybe I should keep a journal. Just don't have time for it. I take a ton of stuff, too, and also think its the reason I function as well as I do. My poor husband is the one supporting me and buying all this stuff, though. And I should have been working on my course today but have been emailing too much. I need to bring in some money to pay for my teeth. I started my detox herbs today. They gave me some cleansing symptoms, but I'm gonna press on. (Maybe that's partly why I'm tired and don't feel like doing anything beyond the daily). Jeanie Progress Report 2003 Progress Report, January 2003 This is from Southern California. I began treating myself for amalgam illness in March 2002. I started by doing research, keeping a journal, and taking Vit C, Vit E, Mg, Zn and Se. Most of the ideas used below came from Andy Cutler's book. By May, I had added B-Complex, B1, B6, Milk Thistle, Flax Oil, Cr, Glutathione, Glutamine and Methionine. I stopped taking Methionine because it caused angina and a worsening of other symptoms. In May, I also began replacing my 8 amalgam fillings with composite. I did two at a time, finishing in mid July. I did not take DMSA OR DMPS after replacement. By July, I had added Phenylalanine, Carnitine, Mb, B12, Folic Acid, CoQ10, Borage Oil, Fish Oil, Lecithin, Cod Liver Oil, Beta Carotene, Arginine, Lysine, Dolomite and Iodine. In October, I started chelating with 30 mg ALA (about every 3 hours) in three-day runs. By October I had discontinued taking Glutathione, Borage Oil, and CLO. I added Taurine. By Dec 2002, I had completed 8 chelation rounds. I find that taking at least 11 days off works best at maintaining a functional life. I have also discontinued fish oil and B1. I currently take 25 Supplements Vitamins: C, E, B-Complex, B6, B12, Folic Acid and Beta-Carotene EFAs, herbs & other: Flax Oil, Milk Thistle, CoQ10, and Lecithin Minerals: Zn, I, Mb, Se, Mg, Cr and dolomite (Ca/Mg) Amino Acids: Glutamine, Phenylalanine, A L-Carnitine, Glycine, Arginine, Lysine & Taurine I sometimes take yogurt, valerian tea (for insomnia) and psyllium husks (for constipation). Here is a list of symptoms I have contended with in 2002. The one's marked cured are basically gone or occur so infrequently or slightly that they no longer cause problems. Many of the one's marked persistent have diminished slightly but are still problematic. I believe that if I stopped taking several of the above supplements, many of the symptoms would worsen or return. Guest guest
- if you wanted to self treat your thyroid and adrenals ( you mentioned low stress tolerance and abnormally low temps) www.nutri-meds.com sells glandular supplements that are like Armour for thyroid and adrenal except much lower dosages (so they can legally market them). I use the adrenal (and Armour type for thryoid through prescription) and notice a difference. Not a cure all - but make a huge difference for me. We have friends in L.A. Must be nice. Guest guest
I have considered trying this but want to try about 12 months of chelation first. I am functioning well now, but it is nice to know that I can get a lose dose without too much trouble. - > - if you wanted to self treat your thyroid and adrenals ( you > mentioned low stress tolerance and abnormally low temps) www.nutri- meds.com > sells glandular supplements that are like Armour for thyroid and adrenal > except much lower dosages (so they can legally market them). Guest guest
I have just explored the nutri-meds web site. I cannot believe how resonable the prices are. - > - if you wanted to self treat your thyroid and adrenals ( you > mentioned low stress tolerance and abnormally low temps) www.nutri- meds.com > sells glandular supplements that are like Armour for thyroid and adrenal > except much lower dosages (so they can legally market them). Guest guest
, Your progress report blew me away! I have almost everyone one of the symptoms listed. After 1 year of following a bad protocol and suffering from more symptoms and horrible head pain, I found this group. Now I have completed 4 chelations (following Andy's protocal and timing) and added ALA. I am stunned at the dramatic improvement in just 4 rounds. My energy level has tripled and my mood is great. I am feeling soooo good I'm giddy! hahahahaha It has been so many years since I have had good days. This is literally the answers to many prayers. Thanks for sharing. You're an inspiration to me. Guest guest
, This is a wonderful and inspiring list. Thank you for sharing it with all of us. I am going to be getting my fillings removed and start a program. I will document it and post as you did. Thank you for the inspiration and support. I am sure this is very helpful to numerous people on the list. > Progress Report, January 2003 > > This is from Southern California. > > I began treating myself for amalgam illness in March 2002. > I started by doing research, keeping a journal, and taking Vit C, Vit > E, Mg, Zn and Se. > Most of the ideas used below came from Andy Cutler's book. > > By May, I had added B-Complex, B1, B6, Milk Thistle, Flax Oil, Cr, > Glutathione, Glutamine and Methionine.
