Hi

I work on a cardiac unit in a hospital and we care for a lot of elderly

incontinence. We use a product called XO. It's good to use as an air freshener,

deodorizer, and an assortment of other uses. We even add to the patient's bath

water-it's safe to use on human skin. I'll check the label tonight when I go to

work and find out who manufactures it and see if I can get a lead on where you

can order it. It really is a great product.

I just came home from my work at the nursing home. When I saw this post,

all I could say was 'God Bless You' with tears in my eyes. I see so much at

the nursing home that makes me want to take my mother even more. She could

not get the one on one that I can offer her. It is exhausting....but when

she says thank you to me for changing her bed, giving her her meds, and just

being kind, that makes it all worth it. She knows my other siblings won't

take the time, and I mean won't, she is more appreciative of me.

Thank you for the compliment referring to calling me an angel. I have been

told I have the patience of a saint. All I know is that I was raised to

respect my elders and to honor the mother and father. So, I am just

fulfilling what my parents had instilled in me.

I will not apologize for my earlier posts. I am not sorry for the fact that

I am a natural witnesser, but I will try to keep my conversation to the

topic of this club. If a religious thought pops out now and then, it is

only an automatic response to my raising.

I had to go out yesterday and buy mom two more sheet sets and stuff due to

the fact that I am having trouble keeping up with her bed wetting. I am

also trying to find out how to keep the odor down in the hamper where she

stores her wet clothing. It is hard for me to gather it up and not let the

fumes sicken me, but I am trying even harder to not allow it to penetrate my

home. Any ideas?

I saw this post and just had to say I can relate you your situation. My

mother who is 70 lives with me and my hubby and she too like me is diabetic

and

doesnt do too good at following her diet and likes to eat things she

shouldnt........My mom is of her right mind so its hard to say no you cannt

eat that

.........I mean I can make comments that she shouldnt have it or its not on

our

diet but she just usually says I know and goes on.

By the way, just an FYI. When I respond to these great posts from my email

it will come in as the 's. So, don't let that confuse you when it

doesn't come in as cancertwin1956. I am so busy when I come home from work

and there are so many wonderful posts to catch up on, I just view them thru

my email and respond that way.

Thank you. That would be great. I appreciate you taking the time out to

find this out for me. Any help is greatly appreciated.
