Hi my name is Lorna, I am 43 years old; and have been diagnosed as type 2

diabetic.I thought I would just say hello. I was responding to belle's

email .I Have a brilliant book, which I am reading at the moment.It is called

" Type 2 Diabetes The First Year " by Gretchen Becker. She has been diabetic since

1996. It is wellworth reading and easily followed

Go to your local library or bookstore and get a hold of a copy of DR.

BERNSTEIN'S DIABETES SOLUTION. It is by a medical doctor who is diabetic

himself. He became diabetic at age 12 and his parents were told he wouldn't

last much into his twenties; hes over 70 now.

I am a diabetic, I do not need a book to tell me that. I suggest a

monitor if you have any questions. Test and test often.
