Second, what really does the work is alpha lipoic acid, which you should introduce sooner rather than later. That requires 3 hour dosing (4 is OK at night). The DMPS can be given with it (in proportionately smaller amounts) or every 8 hours if you want to keep track. > 2. During the summer, I'm thinking of doing some long rounds. Maybe not. Probably longer rounds than 3 days would be helpful. If you want faster progress you could try less off time. Why not try 3/4 first and decide after seeing what happens with that? > Also, I have a NT mercury-toxic three year old. I started chelating my #4 when she was age 2-1/2. I did her on 3/4 also, with occasional 3/11. Dana
Guest guest
So, I successfully completed my first round on myself. I am planning on adding in my 4 and 2 year old next week. I hope to do 4 day rounds or possibly 5 day rounds if I can manage it. I am going to go straight to DMPS and ALA every four hours. This is what I did for myself. If I can manage it, I will do it every week. I think the constraints will be yeast and your ability to deal. I have to say that I didn't feel as tired on my first round as I usually am. I had less sleep. We will see how I feel on off the round, which will start this afternoon. Maureen
