Guest guest
In order for any doctor to truely understand what metal toxicity is, they'd have to take classes and learn about it. Which means shelling out a few bucks and taking up some of their precious office time. The majority of the American Medical Community is too lazy and greedy to do that. Do I sound cynical? LOLOL > I saw that too on CNN and I think it said large doses over long periods of time of zinc or some other kind of vitamin can cause major health problems. That's pretty much all it said. I think it's a product of modern times, but my first thought was that maybe the drug companies don't want people to be healthy, afterall, they profit from our illness. Sad, and maybe I'm a bit paranoid, but we have reason to be cynical towards the medical and pharmaceutical establishments. All the doctors I called to discuss mercury chelation told me they were highly skeptical that mercury was the cause of my feeling ill for so long. It seems to me that many doctors don't know much at all and are just happy to take gifts from drug companies for doling out their products to patients like candy. I guess that's another topic though. And now we have new studies out to show that hormone replacement therapy is really okay afterall. Whatever. For every potentially detrimental study that comes out, another one quickly follows to control the damage and tell us that it's not really true afterall. So I just don't know what to believe, take it all with a grain of salt and follow your own instinct.
Guest guest
The first step is awareness. You have it. The greed of the pharma-cartel extends into politics with large grants to legislators who write the laws. It extends into the dental and medical 'professions' in many ways. The answer is to take responsibility for your own health - and to know where to look for advice. Seek out integrative, holistic health care people. In '76, I was president of The International Academy of Preventive Medicine and saw first hand how these people are trying to help - all the while being attacked by their fellow doctors (DDSs and MDs). But know that they're there! Seek them out. Jerry Mittelman, DDS, FAPM Don't miss out - get your free sample copy of The Holistic Dental Digest PLUS = information you're not likely to get elsewhere -- by replying to jmittelman@... with your PO Box or street address. re: subliminal messages I saw that too on CNN and I think it said large doses over long periods of time of zinc or some other kind of vitamin can cause major health problems.
