Can you use Atkins Shake Mix or just substitute splenda for sugar? " I have made ice cream with my ice cream maker using splenda instead of sugar and it turned out good. Really hard after being in the freezer - but good all the same. I've never used the Atkins shake mix- just used a basic custard recipe as a base for the ice cream and added it to the freezer.
