Thank you to those reminding me that lipitor can raise the liver

enzymes. I do remember this from a while back. I go tomorrow for my

current blood tests which is good as I haven't started my metformin

yet. I am anxious to see what the A1C number is. It may be high

since I started my " watching the food intake " about a month ago.

Lots of knowledge here. I informed my doctor that I had joined these

lists and was learning fast from the experienced ones.

Hi Mittens, if you have metformin, why have you decided to wait to take it?

I think it is a good choice for most diabetics to try. It does not cause

hypos and helps stabilize us. Hugs, Marilyn
