With my body it seems Im hardly effected by natural carbs, such as corn, rice, whole wheat , oats etc, but my sugars fly up over sugar carbs and white flour. i can also eat pasta in sensible quantities without having to take extra insulin (I have to take 70/30 2x's daily regardless of what I eat)Sooo I think a lot of it is we are all different and testing testing testing blood sugars to know what does what to our bodies. i had a nurse in the hospital tell me the MOST important thing I could do was test my sugars religously.
