I know that when got so sick that I would sit and watch him sleep and think why he is just a baby. But in the last 6 1/2 years God has really shown through that kid, when doctors never gave us hope would always get better. Now he is the type of kid that never complains if he does not feel well, he tunes in fast to my mom and my grandmother when they are not feeling good and will crawl up in their lap and tell them that he understands and it will get better we all just have to pray. He will tell you in a heart beat that it may not be fair that he is sick but he will make the best of what he has and go on with life. It really makes you sit back and think yea having to take a bunch of shot a day is not fun but we have to do with and make the best of what hand has been dealt to us and let God work the glory in our lives. Hi , and to think some people don't believe God has a hand in their lives! Tell them to ask ! Love, Marilyn Marilyn Moderator for Diabetic_Recipes dnevessr@... He may never be able to live on his on because of some of the side effects (too many to list all). He is the most cheerful person I have ever known. I have never seen him feel sorry for hisself, never seen his sister and brother treat him any differently (other than the way sibilings do to each other), his parents never told him that he could not do anything. When ever I start feeling down about having diabetes and get the " why mes " , I think of him. If he can go everything he has and will, so can I and be thankful that compared to him people consider me normal. That is very inspirational! Thank you. My daughter at 15 months had a tumor found in her brain. Needless to say I was over wrought and prayed like crazy. She is now 31 yrs and fine. The doctor said, the next morning, as she was scheduled for emergency surgery, that he wanted anothe cat scan. It came back with no tumor showing. That was a miracle!! Hugz, Joan Amen and Praise The Lord. We all know the power of prayer, it can pull you from the darkest despair, it can delete any medical condition (I have had 2 documented medical miracles myself). I never doubt that any position can be turned to the glory of God. He is awesome, and I am proud to say I serve a Risen Savior. Love, Marilyn Marilyn Moderator for Diabetic_Recipes dnevessr@...
