If by " we " you include me, Marilyn, you might be interested to know that I eat my bananas whole and don't know what you mean by " 2 exchanges " ! > ... spread a little peanutbutter > and share! LOL Does the LOL mean that this is only a joke? I find the thought of peanut butter spread on banana to be totally nauseating! How could anybody eat that? I spent a couple of years in the US altogether, staying in hotels all the time and eating in restaurants but I never saw any of that stuff on the menus! Peanut butter is not something that is easily found in Europe (maybe in the UK now) but looking in a German table of nutritional values I see that something called " ground-nut paste " (Erdnusspaste) is listed with 630 kcal for 100 grams (3.5 oz) and is 50% fat! The same amount of raw banana has only 93 kcal for 100 grams so I guess it would be fair to say that peanut butter is a real weight adder! Does peanut butter have butter in it? Can you make it yourself by putting the nuts through a blender and adding real butter? I am trying to lose weight so I would say that peanut butter on banana is a real no-no for me (apart from the emetic effect which I feel right now just thinking about it!) When you use it frozen, it makes for a nice thick smoothie. Hugs, marilyn Marilyn Moderator for Diabetic_Recipes dnevessr@... Guest guest
When I was pregnant with my son, I loved eating pb and pickle sandwiches. Still do from time to time. --- dnevessr@... dnevessr@...> wrote: > In a message dated 7/9/2004 7:14:41 AM Pacific Standard Time, > lreynolds42002@... writes: > How about peanutbutter pickle and mayo sandwich they are good to. > > Just one question, were you pregnant?
