Guest guest
I have this one: It is actually pretty good!! lc rootbeer float. take about 1/4 cup heavy cream in your blender, 5-6 ice cubes (more or less depending on size), 1 packet of your favorite sweetener, and a capful of vanilla extract (1/2tsp?). blenderize till the mix solidifies into an ice cream like state. If you don't have enough ice cubes it'll stay real liquidy, so add another cube till it stays pretty firm. spoon it into a large glass, add some diet A&W root beer, or whatever brand you like, and a quick shot of whipped cream if you have any.... we keep a can of reddi-whip around it's labeled as <1gcarb per 2 tbsp. It's sweet, cold, tasty and takes less than 5 mins towhip up a couple of mugs worth Hugs Penny---Ohio 173/157/130 Goal for Oct 31st-----155 !!!!!!!!Go Braves!!!!!!!!! Then I pour diet rootbeer in a coffee mug then just add a plop(like you do with adding whipped cream to hot chocolate) Thats it. Its really yummy!! Guest guest
Yes Faye I did use 1/3 cup of heavy cream, it called for 1/4 but I liked it with alittle more. The diet root beer was sweet enough and no extra sweetener was needed, just add ice and it was great!! As for something to snack on go eat a pork chop or a chicken leg. You can't do that on many diets!! LOL Alta (mom) Re: Root Beer Float > > >My mom made them for me today. I was a little pig and had 2 they were great. I love them I could live on them.
