Prayers are on their way from Indiana>>>>>>>

Cheryl

Hey Gang,

Just wanted to ask everyone who cares to, to please

remember Vickie Gardner in your prayers. Her friend's

wife passed away yesterday and he , too, is felling

very despondent. Prayers would be in order for him

also. We all know how emotions can cause a variety of

symptoms to occur that can make dealing with our

dis-ease more difficult. Please show your support.

Prayers are on their way. Sorry to hear about Vickie. Yes this sure could

cause him to be depressed and we do know what that can do to our blood sugars.

Chat soon. And again my deepest sympanty.

Thank you, for the support. It is so hard to know what to say to someone

when a loved one is dying. Even thought I have been through it myself when I

lost my Mother and with lots of other friends, it is never easy. Yes, our

emotions certainly do affect our BGL's. I am really enjoying being a part of

this group.

Vickey I had thoughts and prayers for you. There is never a good time

to lose someone so dear to your heart. I am sure that this effecting

your health dealing with diabetes. Stress has a lot to do with how

your body responds. Still thinking of you and her family during this

terrible time.

Thanks, Marilyn, and for your prayers and good wishes. I spoke

with my friend last night. It has been one week since his wife passed away. He

is doing well all things considered. I love the total support we all get from

this support group. As we all know, our emotions really can have a negative

effect on our BGL. Therefore, it is great that we can come here to talk about

what is happening in our lives as well as ask for support.

,

I hope you feel better soon. I agree, it is nice to see more people posting in

support of each other.

Hey Everyone,

Hope the holiday weekend for those in the States was

most enjoyable. I would like to take this opportunity

to thank everyone for jumping in and helping your

fellow members with some of their issues over the past

few days. It's never pleasant to face anything alone

and it's even worse when one reaches out and no one is

there. We will all never agree on issues, but, I

believe it's important to be there for each other in

times of need. Maybe even some of the 'lurkers' or

some of our more shy members will begin to participate

knowing that there is a genuine concern for each other

here on this board. I'd like to pass on a phrase from

my social worker days-take what you like and leave the

rest. The 'caring', however, can be taken by everyone.

Prayers to who is feeling a bit under the

weather right now.

Hi Vickie, yes, it is so true, we need support from one another. The newbies

who come in are like tiny ships, tossed in a huge, dark ocean. If we do not

offer them anchor, what use are we? If we can offer comfort for you and your

friend, it is our joy to do so. Many hugs, marilyn
