Hello,

My name is Bonna, from Las Vegas. I started on Atkins about 4 weeks ago. I have

never felt better. I am steadily losing weight, and, not hungry. I'm sure I'm

doing some things wrong, like -- I didn't weigh myself before I started -- I

couldn't stand the thought of seeing how much I weighed on the scale, although I

have been watching myself go from size 16 to size 18 to size 20. The last straw

was, I bought a blouse in size 2X. Anyway, I am going by the way my clothes look

and how I look in the mirror. Another thing, I didn't buy the ketosis strips. I

have read a bit from others, and they seem to really stress over what color the

strips are. I say, so what, as long as I'm losing weight. Another thing, I'm not

counting carbs. I just try mightily not to eat any, and I know I'm probably

getting about 20 a day because of the small amounts in foods.

But. I am getting bored with the foods. I've seen some recipes that use soy

protein. Does anybody use it? Know of a good source for recipes? Does anyone eat

the Atkins protein bars? I have a friend at work who says they don't taste very

good but they're filling.
