Guest guest
Can anyone send me a pic/info on GJ tubes. My 3yo is being admitted tomorrow for IV fluids (intolerant to GT feedings) and is having a GJ placed under flouroscopy on Friday. We have had to replace his GT about every 3 weeks. What do you do when the balloon breaks in a GJ? What's to say he won't have the same intolerance with a GJ, since the ba swallows all show rapid emptying??? I would think it would leave a bigger buldge on the outside too. Any info would be greatly appreciated . Keep you fingers crossed this works and we avoid TPN.
