Guest guest
Gosh , I just don't know what it's gonna take to get some help from these people. You actually heard a Rheumy make a statement like that?! Grr! Now, since I'm taking the anti-depressants and NSAID's like they told me to...I'm supposed to exercise, lose weight and stop staying up all night and sleeping during the day and my Fibro will disappear. I just wish they could live with my body about a week and then come back and tell me that. Thank you for caring. :-) {{{Hugs}}} Jacqui Jacqui Jacqui--i've had the EXACT same problem with doctors for years and years. I've heard one rheumotologist say (when he wasn't with patients--he was outside the door) that 'if he got one more whining patient with fibromyalgia, he'd ______' another even put in my chart 'drug seeking'.....and i've NEVER been given a prescription for a narcotic..ever!! This probably sounds bad (because i'm not like this), but the last doc I saw said 'he wouldn't treat me until I saw a psychiatrist as FMS is caused by depression), so I thought about it for a few weeks.....and got the bill (over $300-for an office visit), that I wasn't going to PAY this jerk until I saw a psychiatrist! I don't know if we have any recourse when we are ripped off like that...i've donated nearly every extra dollar i've ever had to jerks like this (I figure i've spent $50,000 in the past 6 years-and gotten NO treatment whatsoever, besides antidepressants, nsaids and alot of humiliation....I decided enough was enough...they can EAT that bill... kmnewberry@... _________________________________________________________________ MSN Photos is the easiest way to share and print your photos: http://photos.msn.com/support/worldwide.aspx

This is a friendly place where you might find an interesting post about something you were curious about, a great find at a grocery market, a prayer request, or definitly a friend who understands your situation. :-) Two little girls, how fun! When my sons were 13, 14, and 15 we adopted twin girls. They were our 44th and 45th foster children and we have enjoyed them so much. One has a 2 month old daughter and the other will present us with number 7 grandchild in Sept. They are soon to be 23. Our youngest child is 12 (girl) who is actually our grandchild that we have raised from birth almost. Her dad and mom could not care for her due to bipolar disorder and we did not want to lose her in the system that we were all too familiar with. I have been diabetic about 4 years, T2. DH's family is full of them, so we keep an eye on his BG's too. Do you have any special tricks you have learned along the way that might help out another struggling soul? :-) I am always looking for a new or different way to do things that just might make life easier! Type 1, are there any others in your family that have diabetes? I am assuming your daughters are free of it? Have you had to take extra precautions with their diet? Well, if you can think of anything else you might like to know, feel free to ask. We are pretty engaging and friendly here. Hugs, and again, welcome ;-) Marilyn
