Guest guest
the food for thought item of the day- Back on sept 21st, all of the sudden aj started coughing in the middle of the night at my mom's. When we got home i put her on the nebulizer. A few days later, the doc confirmed it was asthma and upped the treatments. She continued to get worse. Monday we finally got her to the asthma doc, who upped her treatments even more. She couldn't laugh, cry or do anything without wheezing/coughing since the asthma doc visit. And every 4 hours the fighting to corner her to do a treatment got worse. She just wouldn't do it-even in the middle of the night, she would wake up and fight. The fights would make the asthma worse. So since 7pm last night, we stopped doing the treatments. At that point, her nose was constantly running with thick green gook. 24 hours later, she is hardly coughing, the green gook is clear and almost non existant. she is so happy. I know i will have a hard time convincing either doctor of this phenomenon. I wish i was wrong but i really haven't been yet. When are they going to start believing and trusting me. All this can't just be a coincidence. Wait til the school nurse sees her, since AJ visits at least 2x a day. she won't believe it!!
