Guest guest
Anyone know if we can just crush a prednisone and put it through the GTube. If not, what is safe to mix it with? Our pharmacy is closed, and when I went to pick up the prescriptin (Giant), the clerk said it had not been filled (I called it in 5 days ago) and Kody is completely out of the liquid. Fortunately, with 6 people in the house on prednisone, I have the pills in every imaginable concentration. Anyone in the know please forward ASAP. I hate to page the doc on something like this but will hae to cuz he cant miss a dose SJHarlow@... http://www.c4isr.com/harlow

Guest guest
Sorry I don't know. Wish I could help. I wish you lived around, I would run some over. P.S. I missed Dr. Bornstein's calls 3 times last week. I tried to stay home and off line as much as I could and as soon as I did either, he called. He left a message saying I must be online as much as Mrs. Harlow. Guest guest
In a message dated 98-09-06 22:19:20 EDT, you write: << Anyone know if we can just crush a prednisone and put it through the > GTube. If not, what is safe to mix it with? >> I don't know if this answer helps at all but I never gave Prednisone in liquid form. We always crush it and mix with either a spoonful of bananas or a spoonful of applesauce. Jen
