Guest guest
Hello people! i have to leave for work in a few minutes. The joys of nursing ( I'm a psych/nurse tech)! Got my lab results two days ago. Cholesterol is 140 now down from 280 in February. A1c level is 7.1 down from 9.5 in January. Everything else is great too. Woke up an hour ago with a blood sugar of 43. Feeling better now. When I bottom out in my sleep, I have so odd dream associated with it. My bodies way of alerting me. Food addiction or food issues in general are not easy to overcome. I was anorexic inmy pre-teens, teens and twenties, for a brief time was " normal weight " then became obese in my 30's and now my 40's. Working really hard on loosing weight, (40+ gone to date since Feb. 4, 2004). But with insulin being a fat storer it is not easy. Have a great day all. I'm off to work at 5:20a.m. Hugs Darrell " When I die I want the world to remember me by two simple words....any two as long as they are simple. I have heard of service dogs trained to detect this (actually, I just think they recognized the dogs picked up on this and made use of it) and such a God send. (Yup, I give Him credit there too! Big ) Your levels are going in the right direction for sure, hope you are able to increase the good side of the chol a little. My dr is always after me to do that, but never says how to do it???
