Guest guest
Jen, Don't feel bad about telling us how well things are going for you!!! It gives us hope for a light at the end of the tunnel. Some kids (I am TOLD anyway) " outgrow " EG and some just need treatment for flare ups from time to time. Let's hope your MIchael is in the former group. Dawn, What a frustrating situation! I know lots of GI docs (or at least those who use Neocate 1+) know the kids won't drink it and " the tube " is in the only way to get it in. Since you are military, avail yourself of your benefits and give Dr. Bornstein a call. He has almost as many GE/IEE kids as Dr. and Sampson. He is WELL versed in this disease. You will be impressed with how well he takes the kids' comfort and quality of life into consideration. Good luck.
