I can't imagine how I survived it without you guys to vent to before. I have to say that Dr. Friesen's nurse completely made me feel nuts when she gave me the results of his scope. I had called her to say was complaining of tummy pain all that day. She just said that Dr. Friesen didn't understand, he had a eos free biopsy (to which I determined to say, " you are nuts, it is all in your head) I am so glad that you told me that although Arissa had a cleaner biopsy, eating was not getting any better and another mom say that with prednisone her children had eos free biopsies then it all came back without the prednisone. Guest guest
Dawn, You are not nuts. You need a doc with experience with this disease. As a matter of fact, our doc (s) -- mine included -- were very supportive and all throughout the past several years KEPT looking knownig that SOMETHING was wrong.. though a few times I wondered if I nuts, they never implied that and THANK GOD for that since it was their perserverance that diagnosed us. Remember too that I have EE too and knw first-hand the symptoms these kids get. The chest pain is WORSE than labor if you can believe that. I actually had suicidal thoughts at one time, would rather died than hurt like that..thank GOD for great docs and lots of Morphine. You are not nuts. Keep looking and keep trying new things until you get it right and you will. SJHarlow@... http://www.c4isr.com/harlow
