Sharon,

I am so sorry Clayton is having such a rough time!!!

Some of this we went through with Kody too after his Nissen. Hindsight

is 20/20 however and I am surprised you are not putting him EXCLUSIVELY

on Neocate 1+ with nothing by mouth,,, especially postop. That has been

a good solution for us...

Once things settle down and you all get used to whole situation, then

you could try introducing some of those food protiens that seem to reak

havoc with " our " kids

He is basically on an excelusive Neocate 1+ diet with the exception of the

feww things we knoe he can tolerate or will eat - Cheerios, french fries and a

couple of baby foods. However, with the exception of the cheerios he really

shows no desirte to eat.

Oh my! this is the week for pulling out g-tubes. Ben pulled his out balloon

and all, I was scared but had to stay calm for Mike. Thank goodness I had a

spare. Why cant they put a button G in now? Hope all goes better now,

Get some sleep.

They canot put a button in for at leat 4-6 weeks (closer to 6) due to the

surgery and to give the hole time to form and a scab to form. I will see the

surgeon on Thursday for a post-op visit and will get more information.
