Guest guest
CLAYTON IS HOME, CLAYTON IS HOME, CLAYTON IS HOME. I CANNOT SHOUT THIS LOUD ENOUGH. Clayton came home this afternoon. He is doing ok - he is still very pale and weaker than before the surgery but all in all seems to be ok. He is not as happy as he was a couple of days ago - but we have been pumping more food into his little body in the past 3 days than he has eaten in the past several months (only a slight exageration). I do not think his tummy is used to all that food. Last night he had 4 gaging and wretching episodes where the nurse had to turn off the feeding pump and vent him. But he still seems happier than before and is still sleeping somewhat better (not through the night but at least he is not screaming through the night either). He is still is basically refusing to eat by mouth and now he will not drink his bottle anymopre but will at least take some juice by mouth and a few cheerios. We will keep trying but at least now I know he is getting some nutrition. Well I am getting ready to crash as my body is just worn out. Thanks to everyone for all their support and prayers. Please keep praying that Clayton keeps getting better. love, sharon
