Guest guest
Well, Arissa's high fever turns out to be strep. She was cultured today. She is on CEFZIL. I hope she doesn't get too sick from the 'cure'. I can't wait for the fever to break. Ususally I can get it to come down, but not this time. I figure by the time the fever breaks, she will be getting her appetite back and that is when she will start reacting to the antibiotics. The GI says it is not related to the scope but I think it is a real coincidence. Scoped on Tuesday and strep by Friday???? Clayton, i hope things are starting to improve for you. We thought Remi was having this horrible time after one of her surgeries. They kept upping the morphine until I freaked and said stop all meds. And that is what it turned out to be-the morphine. She reacts badly to atarax and chloral hydrate also. Another case where the 'cure' is worse than being sick! I hope Clayton is more comfortable by the time you are reading this.
