Guest guest
Thank you, I'll head over there now! I tried typing an explaination, but then realized that the best answer is for you to check out post 817. It has more detailed information about the process than I could come up with off of the top of my head. Good luck in your journey , LTLJSMOM From: javatriv Sent: Monday, July 11, 2005 5:34 PMTo: gastric-bypass-support-kaiser-patients Subject: another newbie Hi All,I'm posting my first post after a couple of days of lurking.I need help with the steps please.Last Wednesday 7/6, my PCP submitted my paperwork to Oakland with her blessing. On Friday 7/8, she called and said the Oakland folks had approved me. We were very excited and I was happy, I thanked her and hung up the phone. I realized a short time later that I have no idea what that meant. Does that mean I am approved to take tests or that Kaiser has approved payment or something else? Does anyone know or should I call her. She said, get ready for the phone calls, it's on auto-pilot now. I think this is all good, but I really don't know what's next. Can anyone help? Thanks,

Guest guest
You will be receiving an approval letter in the mail and the paper will give you the steps. Which program are you accepted to? Richmond, SSF, or Fremont? I have no idea. I think I'd better call my doc.. thanks!!
