Hi all:

Well clayton did not make it out of the special care unit today. He had a very

rough day - spending most of the day screaming none stop no matter what he was

given, morphine, atarax, atavan, benadryl. he screamed non stop from 4 pm

until after midnight. Right now he is quiet but not sleeping yet. If he does

not fall asleep soon (1am) then he will be trying chloral hydrate. It does not

appear to be being caused by the Nissen or g-tube thus it appears to be caused

by something else. We will be having the neuro consult tomorrow. I am now

going crazy but at least the nurses and doctors (mainly residents) are seeing

what I deal with at home and that I am not crazy. MAYBE I WILL GET SOME

ANSWERS WHEN WE ARE IN HERE.

Feeling very depressed and wondering if it will get any better.

love,

sharon

Sharon,

It appears this has become more of an ordeal than you planned for.

Unfortunately that seems to be the way it goes for our kids. My thoughts and

prayers continue to be with you, Clayton and your family. I hope you do get

some answers while your there. I know Luke's extended stay at s Hopkins

made believers of many Doctor's that were skeptical, once they observed the

sudden and strange changes in his condition. If there is anything at all that

I can do to help, just let me know.
