Periactin is a medication given for allergies. It also stimulates

appetite. So it worked in both ways for us.

Hi ,

When we started, we began with 50% of the evening dosage only. After

1 week, we moved to 100% of the evening dose only. After 1 more

week, we moved to 50% of the morning dose plus 100% of the evening

dose. After another week we moved to 100% of the full dose.

If Christian is getting " too much " he will be tired and cranky.

Good luck,

Judith, Steve, (RSS) and (non RSS) 3 1/2 year old twins

- Judith is correct. I am sorry that somehow you weren't

given a handout after your Dr. H visit, that had this all in

writing. But you do start with the dinner dose first, 50%, and then

move up like she said.
