Guest guest Posted August 12, 1998 Report Share Posted August 12, 1998 This has been the first trial for Kody on absolutely no food. Today is day 6 and he is still doing great. Sparkle in his eyes, color in his cheeks and happy, happy, happy. Everyone is also noticing how good he looks (though the chipmunk predisone cheeks are really puffing out now)...and so many of them think it is sooo sad that we cant give him anything. I don't agree. I think it is so GREAT that he feels so good for the FIRSt time in his life. ON a sadder note, our oldest has been more symptomatic this week than ever in 11 years..we are upping his prednisone dose. Our second broke his hand in a freak soccer accident in the front yard, though the GI does not think it is related to bone loss from the prednisone???? Good luck to all with procedures this week.
