Guest guest
My Doctor said to expect speech delays. She said that happens a lot when a child is tube fed. Plus, in my research, and in Parents magazine, it said that speech delays can be caused by the lack of building the muscles needed to talk, when one cannot eat solid foods normally. I will see if I can find that article and post it to you all. By the way, I forgot to tell you the name of my child. His name is Riley and he has been seen at Childrens Medical Center of Dallas and by a magnificant Doctor named Dr. Baker, who practices at other hospitals. mom to Riley (born 11-13-94, eosinophilic gastroenteritis, over it for now) and Brittany (born 4-21-96, just fine) Does anyone have children with developmental delays? And how old and what size is everyones children? Riley is 3yr9mo and I think he is about 29 pounds By the way, I am so glad to find you all!!
