Hi Everyone!

had his GI visit last Thursday (11th), it was 10 days after our last

appt. He gained 7 oz. I can't believe it. We are soo happy. He is

completely off Prednisone now. He is having lots of tummy cramps and

yesterday even doubled over from them. I am going to watch these and make

sure they don't continue. They aren't disturbing his sleep. His breathing

is definitely different since coming off the Prednisone. He coughs

constantly but no wheezing yet, thank goodness. I will have to get back up

on his breathing. The whole year he was on Prednisone, he had no breathing

problems so I got lax on this.

Now, our problem, and a question. Who on this list gets SSI for their

child? I will do a small refresher on our story about that. We applied

after was born and was denied 3 times. We finally went to court Feb

98 and won. It took a judge one look at his 3 volume medical records and

he stamped it approved. We were in court 10 minutes. It is just very

fustrating that we had to wait 2-1/2 years for that. Anyways, we are still

having problems with 's amounts. Last week our lawyer filed a

petition because another military family with same income, same amount of

kids, everything is getting double what is. Well guess what,

yesterday, I get a letter saying we are getting reviewed for disability.

We have not even got 6 months of benefits. Do you think the 2 things are

related? We sure do! Any ideas?????

I am glad I had some good news to write.
