Hi Everyone, my name is Sherry. I'm 41 and looking to lose 15

pounds. I am in reasonably good physical shape, but have let these

pounds pack on. It hards to get motiviated and stop the carb yo-yo.

I have Hashimotos' thyroid which makes weightloss especially

challenging. It also means I cannot consume soy products. I am an ex-

Atkins dieter. That plan gave me initial results, but did not support

endurance exercise for me. I am a runner and need some carbs.

I haven't bought the SBD book yet. When I flipped through it, it

looked so similiar to a low fat Atkins that I opted to skip it. Let

me know if I'm wrong on that. I plan to start Induction tomorrow, but

will really miss my morning oatmeal.
