Although I had visioned using these last 2 weeks (school break) as the > quick controlled fix, I know see the whole process is going to be a journey. > >>It was recommended to me (and others here in UK) by a lab that acted as handling station for Great Smokies tests. We had very high readings of 2 types of yeast and 2 types of parasites. To start with and were doing 2 drops twice daily for Sam who was only 3.5 at the time and when I retested after 6 weeks one yeast had gone and the parasites were way down but still giving a reading, I was told 3 months was the treatment period. I understand know that parasites have a 3 month life cycle so you need to treat for at least that amount of time, makes you wonder why Docs Rx a 10 day course of Flagyl and expect it to work eh? At the time of the second test we were told to move up to 2 drops 3 times per day and leave it another 6 weeks before testing. Couldn't afford to retest but he was much better in behaviour etc. We stopped at that time because the bottle ran out and in my ignorance I thought that problem had been dealt with and moved on the next supp - bless! If the problem isn;t too ingrained, a shorter course might work, bear in mind Sam's diet was awful at this time still full of sugar and he still had pica - soil being his favourite and the Probiogold didn;t seem to be helping things at all. This was all B.E. (before enzymes lol). I have only read a couple of reports about Culturelle causing consitpation and as I recall those were children with history of very loose stools rather than consitpation like Sam, so it may be Ok for your daughter. Have you started enzymes yet? Do you a hair test from DDI? Metal toxicity? Collodial Silver is powerful stuff, short sharp shock 2.5mls 3ppm for 7 days could be another way to go for the bacteria but you need to research the pro's and cons first. I decided it was worth it for Sam and it worked a treat. used it for one of her lads and he hasn;t had a problem since and that was way back. Guest guest
OOps, that should read 2.5mls of 3ppm TWICE a day for 7 days. > Collodial Silver is powerful > stuff, short sharp shock 2.5mls 3ppm for 7 days could be another way to go > for > the bacteria but you need to research the pro's and cons first. Guest guest
Kari, Culturelle did not constipate my son or me. You may want to try it since each individual is different. Robin

Guest guest
Hi Nell No it was a UK brand. There are different strengths, I used 3 ppm, I think some brands are 12 ppm. Wateroz is expensive to iport here because of the weight and postage. Mandi in UK > Mandi, > Did you use WaterOz colloidal silver? >

Guest guest
Does anyone have any information on using Biocidin in treatment of yeast infections? Culturelle is just not cutting it for my son, but I have heard that the die-off reaction with Biocidin can be very severe. Any ideas? Guest guest
Does anyone have any information on using Biocidin in treatment of yeast infections? My son (3.5 yrs, 36 pounds) gets 2 drops of advanced biocedin twice a day (recommended by Dr. Usman). I mix it in his brainchild vitamins and give it to him in a syringe as it does not taste good. It works on yeast and bacteria for my son. If we are chelating, I increase this to 4 drops twice a day but only do this for a week at a time. I have not seen a lot of die-off with the 2 drops but every child is different.
